Let Ecoscapes blow your winter problems away. The 2010/11 winter is projected to be a “La Nina” winter and Environment Canada is predicting more snow than usual this year.

We offer morning or late-day service, which means that our experienced staff goes to work while you are still asleep to give you the safest start to your day. Or we can come later in the day while you are at work so your return from work is safe and trouble free.

We clear your walkways, driveways, steps, porches and decks, but we can also accommodate special requests such as special needs ramps or back yard access as well.

We offer two types of basic service; monthly contracts or per-visit clearing. Monthly service customers pay a per/month flat rate and enjoy priority service no matter the weather. Per-visit service is automatic during and after each snowfall greater than 2” and costs are per/visit. Seniors discounts of up to 20% off standard prices for late-day service only.

Our crews are equipped to operate noise and pollution free. Ecoscapes uses an environmentally friendly melter, not salt. Snow blowers are used rather than a snowplow truck. Cleaning includes hand-shoveling where necessary. Optional noise and pollution free service is available upon request.

Snow clearing will be carried out as soon as possible after each snowfall. After a minimum of 2” snowfall, snow will be cleared from the driveway and the designated walkway(s). After the municipality clears the street, we will return to clear any snow that is blocking the entrance of the driveway. A clean-up of the driveway is included if a car was blocking a spot on the initial visit. General Terms for each property will spell out specific property details.

Heavy and continuous snow will be cleared on one occasion during the storm and again at the end of the storm. In the event of a severe storm (12” or more), snow will be cleared as quickly as possible. Please note that in the event of these extreme weather conditions, more time may be needed to complete the days work. In the event that it snows on Christmas day/eve or New Years day/eve, snow clearing will be delayed.
